Taqueria Amor is a busy Mexican restaurant that has been a staple in Manayunk for almost 10 years. Our colorful & brightly lit storefront is a beacon of joy here on Main Street; made complete with our incredible recipes from Chef/Owner Tim Spinner, and fresh/ delicious margaritas. Our restaurant is continuing to grow quickly and we are looking to add another manager to our team! Ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter who is trustworthy, great at communicating, and is able to maintain a calm and confident demeanor under pressure. Our company culture prioritizes family and overall wellness above all else and we make strides to ensure all members of our team feel taken care of. This new role will assist the General Manager and Asst. General Manager with daily operations, floor management, and potentially some bar management as well. There are plenty of opportunities for advancement within our rapidly growing company. Currently looking for 4 set days per week (~40 hrs) - exact schedule can be discussed.

Responsibilities

Managing floor operations during primarily dinner service
Resolve guest issues and complaints
Assisting FOH staff with any duties or responsibilities during service
Accurately collect and count deposits nightly
Ensuring restaurant is thoroughly cleaned and all entrances are locked nightly
Training new and current employees on proper customer service practices

Skills

Proven customer service experience as a manager
Extensive food and beverage knowledge, with ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform guests and staff
Familiarity with restaurant management software, like Resy and Toast
Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
Acute financial management skills
