Resources for Seniors, Inc. is seeking a full-time Regional Senior Center Program Coordinator at our East Wake Senior Center. The primary role of the RSCP is to supervise the daily operations of the Senior Center program and facilities with or in the absence of the Director. Additional responsibilities include planning, implementing, and promoting program and services to encourage the growth of the Senior Center.


Essential Functions
� Supervise all Staff and Volunteers assigned to the Center, including, but not limited to, reviewing Staff/Volunteer Manual, assignments, work schedule, and Staff/volunteer reviews;
� Assist Director in ensuring the Center maintains all certifications, including N.C. SCOPE Certification;
� Works cooperatively with other agency staff in the provision of services;
� Responsible for assisting with communications, virtual programming, videoing, and daily technology assistance when needed;
� Managing Google calendar using Excel, PowerPoint, camera, and streaming software. Using Facebook's Livestream function to provide weekly updates. Marketing design through Canva, Microsoft Publisher, and Constant contact programs;
� Assists participants with daily activities attending the Center (including but not limited to, Registration, Tours, Fitness Classes, Teach Assigned Fitness Classes, Socials, etc.);
� Plan and conduct daily activity programs for individuals and groups;
� Perform duties assigned, including a task for the Center, community, and partners;
� Know and comply with all N.C. Senior Center Standards;
� Complete required training plan with documentation;
� Observe participants for any change in behavior or routine and communicate to Director, family, doctor, and emergency medical services if necessary;
� Complete participant assessments and registrations;
� Provide orientation and ongoing training to volunteers and agency staff;
� Ensure that administrative tasks are completed correctly and promptly, including but not limited to end of month reports, petty cash management, and receipt of participant payments and donations;
� Attend all Agency required staff meetings;
� Assist Director in ensuring the Senior Center is operated according to the North Carolina Senior Center Services Standards;
� Ensure a neat, clean, and safe environment for the participants;
� Ensure participant retention by maintaining high standards of customer service;
� Ensure proper and timely response to inquiries and promote program enrollment;
� Work/travel to other Agency locations and main office as needed;
� Know and comply with Resources for Seniors, Inc. Personnel Policies;
� Maintain participant confidentiality;
� Perform other duties pertinent to program and departmental assignments as requested or required by supervisors;
� This is a full-time position; hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional evenings and weekends.

The qualified candidate would be able to meet the qualifications listed below:

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
� Ability to meet physical demands of the Essential Duties, including Fitness Instructors Demands, with or without reasonable accommodations;
� Ability to work cooperatively and patiently with the older adult population and other diverse populations, their representatives, subcontractors and agency staff;
� Exhibit knowledge and understanding of the needs of aging independent and disabled adults;
� Ability to plan and conduct a varied, structured program of individual and group activities;
� Exhibit managerial skills, including the ability to supervise Volunteers & Agency Staff;
� Exhibit Administrative skills to include intermediate computer knowledge;
� Commitment to learning about older adults' physical, mental, and social changes.

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE;
� Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Fitness Field or related human services field or its equivalent;
� At least one-year experience in the provision of activities and services, preferably with older adults;
� Certification in CPR, Defibulator, and First Aid training within one month of being hired;
� Certification in Group Fitness Training within three months of being hired;
� Willingness to certify in other training including, but not limited to, Evidenced Based Educational Programs, Tai Chi for Fall Prevention, Fit and Strong, Geri Fit, Zumba, and Yoga.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS;
Provide Medical statements completed within the last 12 months by a physician, nurse practitioner or physician's assistant to meet Essential Duties with or without reasonable accommodations

� While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; sit for long periods; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms;
� This position occasionally requires lifting office products and supplies and moving equipment to 50 pounds.

This Regional Senior Center Program Coordinator position is a full-time, benefit eligible, exempt position working an average of 40 hours a week.
