Our US branch focuses on business development, sales, and customer support for the North American market.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Are you looking to get your career started in the Biotech Industry? We are looking for a highly motivated, driven, and well-organized sales hunter to join Ovizio. This new hire will be able to work autonomously and is up to the challenge of building and managing a successful sales geography.
As a key member of the sales organization, you will be expected to have a strong work ethic and an entrepreneurial spirit, combined with the ability to succeed at a strategic, tactical, and operational level. You are a self-starter and will possess outstanding selling skills combined with a solid business acumen.

We are looking for candidates that are located in the continental United States. The person will report to the Head of Commercial Operations, North America.

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prospects new accounts through cold calling and in-person visits – Cell & Gene Therapy and Vaccine Markets.
• Develops strategies for the asigned area and is accountable for meeting defined sales volume goals.
• Ensures that the sales process runs smoothly from the lead generation and qualification, sales funnel management, demo set-up, closing, placement of instruments, including careful usage of our Product Specialists / Field Application Specialists and demonstration / service resources.
• Consistently achieves monthly, quarterly, and annual sales activity goals and performance objectives.
• Communicates regularly with Sr. Management (Head of Commercial Operations in US and the CEO) and provides a detailed monthly report of activities performed, along with an accurate monthly sales forecast, competitive information and won / lost opportunities.
• Establishes and maintains close professional relationships with new customers. Develops value propositions and action plans with the current US team to increase the portfolio of opportunities in the North American market.
• Develops and maintains solid relationships with key clients.
• Utilizes the company's CRM.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

Education and Experience

• Previous roles in Sales or Business Development is a plus.
• A minimum of a PhD in Life Sciences.
• Knowledge and understanding of Life Sciences Instrumentation and Bioprocessing industries.
• Having worked in or comfortable with a start-up environment is a plus.

This position is located in the continental United States and remote. Ovizio offers, on top of an attractive package, an exciting, innovative as well as challenging work environment where quality of work as well as autonomy and flexibility are key values. Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time.
