Program Manager - Randolph Innovation Hub


Green Mountain Economic Development Corporation (GMEDC) and Black River Innovation Campus (BRIC) seek to fill a Program Manager position for the development of an innovation hub in Randolph, Vermont. Job Summary:


Key touchpoint within the Randolph community for a new innovation hub � an expansion of BRIC programming from Springfield, Vermont. Help inform the design of the innovation hub, and act as the key BRIC representative in the region for events taking place in that space/place. Work with the BRIC and GMEDC team to implement activities that empower, inspire, and support rural Vermont through innovation, technology and entrepreneurship.


Job Responsibilities:


- Participate in the development of physical and programmatic plans for the Randolph innovation hub, and lead plan implementation.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the Randolph innovation hub.
- Collaborate with BRIC leadership to iterate on and improve BRIC offerings (co-working space, workshops, incubators, lifestyle curriculum, etc.) overall and specifically within the Randolph program.
- Serve as a point of contact for BRIC within the region.
- Ensure program development, coordination and implementation with program staff, participants, and mentors.
- Execute program events that occur in the greater Randolph region.
- Act as representative in the community for both BRIC and GMEDC and respond to hub opportunities, supporting a holistic, innovative ecosystem within the region.

About GMEDC and BRIC:


GMEDC is one of twelve Regional Development Corporations across the state of Vermont. With support from the Vermont Agency of Commerce and Community Development and membership, GMEDC fosters economic and community development in a service area of 30 towns in Orange and Windsor Counties. Offices are in White River Junction, Vermont but the Program Manager will be located in Randolph.


The Black River Innovation Campus is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. BRIC provides business incubation for early stage tech start-ups, cultivates local co-working space, and collaborates with teachers and students in the region to empower technology exploration. Its main office is located in Springfield, Vermont at the historic Park Street School.
