Property Maintenance Technician
Acropolis Property Management is looking for full-time maintenance personnel to join our maintenance team! Maintenance technicians will assist in maintaining our vast property management portfolio comprised of both commercial and residential properties located throughout the Greater Syracuse area.
The ideal candidate is trustworthy, responsible, knowledgeable, and thorough.
Main Job Duties include, but are not limited to:
Completing maintenance requests in a timely and effective manner
Communicating regularly with the property manager on work status
Working to maintain building curb appeal
Performing manual labor when required
Maintaining building heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality
General maintenance repairs, minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and basic troubleshooting.
Apartment turnovers - cleaning, prepping, painting, and repairing units back to "move-in condition"
Qualifications:
Must have experience in related fields
Possess their own general tools
Ability to regularly lift 50+lbs
Resident focused; a self-starter and reliable team player
Carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, painting, and general maintenance knowledge
Strong organization and technical skills to service apartment units and properties
Valid driver’s license
Must have dependable transportation (Truck/Van is a Plus)
Must be available for after hours and weekend on-call, on a rotating schedule.
Ability to regularly walk, climb, kneel, crouch and stand for long periods
Ability to work outside and regularly exposed to all weather elements including extreme cold or heat, rain, sleet and snow
