Production Team Member
Job Summary:
Local food manufacturing Company seeks Production Team Members to prepare cartons, packing product, final quality inspection & palletizing of product. Packages materials and products manually by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties
� Prepares cardboard cartons for product packing by suppling the packing station, folding, taping, labeling cartons & placing them on work table.
� Inspects and certifies final product before packing by checking bag weights and bag seals. Removes unsuitable product and communicates packaging problems to supervisor.
� Fills cartons/display cartons appropriately and to standard. Ensures product is packaged in boxes with labels in proper places, proper quantities of product in each carton, tray, & packed bag.
� Stacks correct number of boxes appropriately on pallet using correct stacking pattern from the QC sheets.
� Daily cleaning & sanitation required of all Production equipment and floor.
Skills & Abilities:
� Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
� Must be able to work standing on feet entire shift
� Must be able to follow directions and instructions from supervisor
� Must be able to read and speak English
Company shirts provided and worn as a mandatory uniform along with hair net and safety glasses.
