As a Production Line Operator, your role will be to handle and lead fabrication duties in the AGORUS factory. You’ll perform various tasks, including hands-on carpentry, machine operation and maintenance, moving products, removing debris and trash, and other general factory work. Your job will entail cutting and assembling wooden components according to specifications. Note that this position demands stamina and a good physical condition, as you’ll have to regularly lift heavy loads. You should have great hand dexterity and an eye for detail, as well as good knowledge of construction materials and practices. Working with little supervision while following all health and safety standards is essential. The goal is for you to leverage your training and experience to increase our current fabrication productivity and help improve the overall process in the AGORUS factory.

*2nd shift - PM (1:15 PM - 9:45 PM) *

Responsibilities:

Operate production equipment
Read blueprints, shop drawings and sketches to fully understand requirements
Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed
Cut, shape and install lumber according to measurements
Build panelized walls and building segments by using raw materials or pre-constructed items
Assemble and maintain factory machinery
Meet the deadlines of individual production tasks during shift
Check stock levels and report deficiencies in products or raw materials
Keep the worksite clean to avoid hazards from debris and trash
Transfer equipment and materials manually or with forklift trucks
Follow the company’s safety and quality guidelines

Requirements:

Knowledge of basic safety rules and precautionary measures (safety gear will be provided)
Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers etc.)
Ability to lift heavy loads and transfer them manually
Good communication and teamwork skills
Practical construction experience
Ability to read technical documents and drawings
Good understanding of basic math
Good physical condition and endurance
