Job description
Busy Bee Childhood Development Center is located in the heart of Midtown! Busy Bee has been a part of the community, serving the families and children of Sacramento, for over 50 years. Since 1969 we have been able to provide a safe, nurturing, play-based program that focuses on both the social and emotional development of a child. We are looking to add an experienced, loving, flexible, dependable, energetic, motivated, positive, knowledgeable teacher in the preschool room. We give our teachers the freedom to create and develop their classrooms as long as it is within our play-based philosophy.
REQUIREMENTS: Minimum of 12+ ECE units, 3 units in infant/toddler preferred, units for Aide position not required, Clear Fingerprinting and Background check a must, Health screening, TB test, Updated Immunizations, Able to lift up to 40lbs, CPR certified a plus
DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES
All teachers work together as a team on the following:
~ Develop and implement lesson plans
~ Design an appropriate room arrangement to support the goals and developmental level of the children in the classroom
~ Planning and implementing activities that develop self-esteem, self-help and social skills
~ Communicate appropriately and professionally with parents, management and peers.
~ Reliable
~ Changing diapers and potty-training
~ Play with the children
~ Follow Covid-19 protocols and fully vaccinated
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: From $15.00 per hour and up depending on experience

COVID-19 considerations:
Masks required prior to entering the facility, and wellness checks are completed before each child is dropped off. We have strict Covid-19 protocols. Must be fully vaccinated. We also require a Covid test prior to start date.
