Preschool Teacher
We are a family owned childcare center, that recently expanded. We are hiring some Lead Child Care Teachers for our childcare who is dedicated to helping students learn. The Lead Teacher will be deeply involved with educational development and will act as a mentor and teacher for other teachers. The ideal candidate for this position is available on a full-time basis and has a strong knowledge of early childhood education methods. The long-term goal of the Lead Teacher is to further develop the educational system while also inspiring students to explore and learn new topics. Must love children and can work well with others.
Responsibilities:
* Maintain a safe, fun and clean environment for children.
* Works well with others.
* Evaluate children's educational and developmental levels.
* Ensure that children's needs are being met.
* Lesson Plans
* Keeps a positive attitude and can control emotions·
* Creative and able to facilitate an engaging learning environment·
* Attentive listener
* Clear, consistent and respectful communicator·
* Very strong verbal and written communication skills·
* Works collaboratively with school personnel to create a professional learning community·
* Develops goals and strategies through the school improvement plan·
* Appreciates differences and values contributions of each student building positive, appropriate relationships·
* Incorporates life skills: leadership, ethics, accountability, adaptability, personal, productivity, personal responsibility, people skills, self-direction, and social responsibility.·
* Regularly assesses students, both formative and summative·
* Demonstrates technology/instructional media competency in order to enhance learning·
* Work with parents to promote positive behavioral support and respectful, yet nurturing learning environment·
* Differentiates instruction and expectations according to the varied levels of the students based on assessments and data
