We are an always growing winery and brewery in the heart of Dripping Springs seeking enthusiastic team players who can effectively assist the executive and sous chefs with their daily tasks, ensuring that we are always prepared to provide seamless food service and an enjoyable experience to our guests. You�ll be a part of a small, energetic team. The successful candidates will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and acquisition goals. There are openings for part-time and full-time positions.

Qualifications

- We are willing to train the right people but proven cooking experience, including experience as a Line Chef,
Restaurant Cook or Prep Cook is a huge plus
- Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
- Familiar with industry�s best practices

Key Responsibilities

- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Answer, report to and follow executive or sous chef�s instructions
- Clean up station and take care of leftover food
- Stock inventory appropriately
- Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Additional Details

Must be at least 16+ years of age
Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and occasional special events
Must have reliable transportation
Smoking is not allowed on-site or at the workplace
Fragrance-free workplace

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
