Plumbers Helper
We are seeking a Plumbers Helper to join our team! Clear communication, positive attitude, punctuality, and resourcefulness are some of the key qualities we look for in our employees.
The ideal candidate will have all of their own hand tools and a few small power tools. Larger power tools and specialty tools will be loaned to them for the completion of the work scope requiring that equipment.
Crownpoint Plumbco LLC is a small family-owned plumbing company. Our fleet has been expanding, as has our client base. Expansions to our equipment has brought us in bigger jobs and we need an additional Plumbers Helper for our new jobs and clients.
We work with builders primarily for new construction residences or remodels and additions. Occasionally, we will disconnect and reconnect for fixture replacements, mold remediation, or water heater exchanges, etc.
As we are not a service company, we work typically 8-5, Mon-Fri. Our pay structure is hourly, not commission.
Pay: $15-$20 hourly depending on experience
Responsibilities:
Clock in/out daily via our project management software as well as upload all pictures and notes for each visit.
Keep track of all tools loaned to you, they're expected to be returned to the business in the same condition given.
Material Lists are expected to be compiled and material should be collected in one trip.
All expense receipts should be handed into the Office Manager each day.
Understanding and conforming to municipal codes for inspection requirements.
Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in plumbing - at least 1 year.
Helper must have 2 years construction experience.
Must be able to read a measuring tape.
Must be able to take direction as we are willing to train you on what you may not already know.
Must be able to obtain a Plumbers Apprentice card.
You will be working with remodels, new construction, as well as both commercial and residential plumbing such as PVC, drainage and water systems.
Ability to handle physical workload.
Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
MUST HAVE Valid Driver's License as you will be provided a company vehicle.
MUST HAVE Valid Plumbers License.
