Personal Care Assistant
There are openings for full-time and part-time AM, PM, and NOC Caregivers at The Gateway Community in our Assisted Living building, located in Poway, CA.
This is an RHF senior housing community comprised of 66 units in our assisted living building and 133 residential apartments. Our ideal candidate will have a flexible schedule, ability to work weekends, and posses caregiver experience. The available shifts are 6:30am - 2:30pm, 2:30pm - 10:30pm, 10:30pm - 6:30am.
Qualifications:
Ability to relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly, and at times emotionally upset Residents within the facility.
Ability to push, pull, move, and lift a minimum of 25 pounds to a minimum height of 3 feet. Be able to push/pull such weights a minimum distance of 100 feet.
Ability to perform Resident care as assigned, and provide a comfortable & safe environment.
Reading, writing, and speaking English is required. Experience working with elderly is a plus. High School graduate or equivalent.
All employment is contingent upon successful drug and alcohol screening and criminal background check.
