Currently recruiting an Occupational Therapist to working Dublin, Georgia in a 190-bed acute care facility providing community healthcare services. Providing services such as 24-hour emergency care, a sleep center, and a women s imaging center, the hospital is a vital member of the community in Dublin. The facility maintains a high level of involvement and health education by performing health fairs and no-cost screenings for common medical conditions. The hospital is a proud recipient of several nationally recognized accreditations and awards. These awards demonstrate the facility' s ongoing commitment to quality patient care. The hospital has been recognized as a Primary Stroke Center and received the Esteemed State Award. The hospital also received an A for Patient Safety by the Leapfrog Hospital Safety Guide.

Job Responsibilities of the Occupational Therapist:

You will conduct patient assessments and evaluations to determine physical condition, limitations, medical histories, and patient goals.
You will teach the patient how to interact with adaptive technology, how to use assistive devices and guide the patient through treatment activities to assist them in regaining the skills needed for their daily life.
You will provide education to the patient/family and effectively document the therapy process.
You will communicate and collaborate with other members of the rehabilitation team including other therapists, physicians, and nurses to best treat the patient.
Job Qualifications of the Occupational Therapist:

Graduation from an accredited school of Occupational Therapy is required.
Must be licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the state which you practice, in accordance with law and regulation.
A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider is required.
Prior acute care and/or inpatient rehab experience preferred.
Compensation of the Occupational Therapist:

Salary: (Some flexibility available for very experienced candidates.)
Relocation: Up to $10K based on location.
