A loving family of three who split their time between NYC and Dallas are seeking an educationally-minded rotational nanny to join them in caring for their infant son!
Location: NYC / Dallas
Ages of children: 5 months old
Start date/Contract dates: The family is excited for a nanny to join their family in March 2023!
Schedule: Full-time, rotational schedule of 2 weeks on/two weeks off with 24/7 on-call availability expected during working weeks.
Compensation: The family is offering an hourly and overtime rate equivalent to an annualized base compensation of $100-125k/year dependent on candidate experience. The family may be open to candidates who are seeking a higher compensation package commensurate with experience.
Benefits: The family is open to providing benefits including paid time off, paid holidays, health insurance and/or a health insurance stipend, a vehicle for personal and professional use during on weeks, and relocation assistance based on candidate need and the full benefits package.
Live-in/Live-out: Live-in while on duty. The family is open to candidates who would like to fly in for their on weeks!

These joyful and organized first-time parents enjoy learning about their son and watching him grow! The family splits their time between NYC and Dallas, and they love to have adventures worldwide and to cultivate an environment that is welcoming and silly in their home. They are excited to enrich their son’s life with new experiences, help him to grow his skills, expose him to languages and music, and show him how fun the world can be.
Both parents are in and out of the house regularly, so a candidate who is open to collaboration will be key! They look forward to learning from and collaborating on all things child-related alongside their nanny team. The family travels frequently throughout the year between their homes in Dallas, NYC, and the Hamptons, and loves to visit other destinations worldwide as much as possible! A candidate who is excited to travel alongside them will be a great addition to their bustling team.
Ideal candidate:
This position is ideal for someone who is excited to provide enriching care to a growing infant! A candidate who is savvy in treating the world like their classroom, and is experienced with the infant and early toddler years will thrive alongside this family at home and on their travels. A candidate who can speak to new research or ideas on child development would be a seamless fit in this open and curious home.
The family looks forward to working with a candidate who can bring a unique skill set to this role to enhance the care they provide to their son. Someone who is fluent in either Spanish/French/American Sign Language or possesses a Montessori or Early Childhood Education background. Someone who brings an open-minded, professional, and educational mindset to their role will be an amazing asset!
Responsibilities include creating an environment for the child to grow and thrive, child-related meal preparation, children’s laundry and light housekeeping, and traveling frequently with the family. A candidate who is willing to pitch in with other household tasks as needed will be appreciated.
Qualifications:
3 years of professional childcare experience
Valid driver’s license and passport
Experience traveling with families and children
Fully vaccinated and boosted (when eligible) against COVID-19 prior to starting date in accordance with applicable laws
Knowledge and experience with age-appropriate developmental milestones, specifically with the infant and toddler stages
Possesses one (or more!) of the following: Spanish, French, American Sign Language, or Montessori, Early Childhood Education background
Dog friendly! Willing to support light pet care
