Nanny
Sweet family with three children (3.5 and 1.5-year-old girls and one newborn boy (born 9/21/22) is looking for a FULL-TIME CAREGIVER to join their family! They are seeking someone to work M-F 8 AM-6 PM $25-30/hr + overtime via payroll as per NJ Tax Law + PTO provided. They are looking for someone who has great interpersonal skills and can help teach such skills to the children; someone who can redirect the children and has great intuition. Must have common sense and strong emotional intelligence. For example, you must be able to read the room and understand how and when to step in (i.e., if the child is clinging to the mom while she is trying to get ready, you can take the child elsewhere and distract them). They are seeking someone super fun, hands-on, personable, easygoing, bubbly, and hardworking! You will essentially be mom's right hand gal/guy and it is essential that you can be in her brain, so to speak! Must be able to anticipate needs, and always be a step ahead!
You will be responsible for all childcare-related duties including running errands, cooking & laundry for the children, driving in the family car, helping with organization and keeping areas tidy, and keeping track of inventory (clothing, supplies, etc.) They have older labradors who are very friendly, and no care is required. Their 3.5-year-old is in school 8:45 AM -12 PM 5 days a week. Tues/Thurs she stays until 2:30 PM and on other days she usually has 1-afternoon activity (swim class, gymnastics, etc.). The 1.5-year-old will not be in school until Fall 2023 but she has regular morning activities (music, gymnastics, etc) while the older one is in school. The newborn has no schedule yet.
Travel would only be a request, not a requirement. They don't travel frequently but would be happy if the nanny were able to travel on occasion or stay for overnights on occasion. Their eldest daughter is energetic and very smart and needs activities to keep her stimulated. Their second is carefree and easygoing. She's very strong physically and benefits from playground time and physical activity. Their neighborhood is very close to town (5-10 minute walk) and surrounded by young families. Sidewalks everywhere, playgrounds within walking distance as well as a library and other kids' activities. The town is very family oriented. Must be a competent swimmer! Family car provided for you to use while on the job. They would love to hire someone ASAP but are flexible about the right fit! LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY!
