Clinic Overview: Blue Mountain Clinic is a non-profit primary care clinic which serves the health needs of Western Montana and the surrounding region. The clinic specializes in family practice, sexual and reproductive healthcare including abortion care, and we provide gender affirming and non-binary care. The clinic has five medical providers and fifteen support staff; we see patients 4.5 days per week.
Blue Mountain Clinic seeks a Certified Mental Health Therapist to join our team and whose values align with our mission and vision of providing individualized, choice-based healthcare that respects the power of personal connection.

Job Summary: We seek a therapist with exceptional patient care, who is dedicated to a person-centered, holistic approach. The ideal candidate is compassionate, independent, self-motivated, and adaptable.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
• Experience and knowledge in providing accurate clinical assessments and evaluations which can include mental and emotional health and stability.
• Maintain detailed and concise records of each client throughout their treatment.
• Counsel clients at both the individual and family level around emotional and mental health issues.
• Build and maintain strong rapport with clients and, as appropriate, their family members, parents, and other support persons.
• Work collaboratively with Blue Mountain Clinic healthcare providers to ensure a holistic and comprehensive approach to health and well-being.
• Demonstrate knowledge of local resources when more specialized treatment is warranted.
• Seek out and participate in professional development training opportunities to enhance professional skills and knowledge.
• Maintain annual licensing requirements as determined by the appropriate licensure bodies, such as Montana’s Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB).
• Other duties as assigned.

We seek a therapist with the following skills:
• LCSW preferred and must have the required MT State license to practice
• A therapist who is also certified as a Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC) is desired
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
• Social perceptiveness and service-oriented approach to teamwork and clinic culture
• Punctual and self-disciplined
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Annual salary will be determined based on experience; the range is $55,000 to $62,000.

Benefits: Blue Mountain Clinic operates Monday through Thursday from 8:00am to 6:00pm, and Fridays from 7:30am to 1pm. All staff are expected to work 36 hours per week. Staff who work at least 30 hours per week are offered health insurance, dental, and vision benefits after 3 months; after 6 months of employment, staff are offered retirement benefits including a 4% match. All staff receive paid time off, holiday pay, and long-term leave benefits.

COVID-19 considerations:
All employees and patients are required to wear a mask in the clinic. We are maintaining a reduced volume in the building, and we offer telehealth services. We continue to clean and sanitize routinely, and we have placed barriers between the front desk and clinic lobby.
