Membership Specialist

The North Texas LGBT Chamber of Commerce is in need of a Membership Specialist to join our team. In this position, you will work closely with our VP of Membership & Programs. You will be responsible for day-to-day oversight, implementation, and management of the membership and events programs. Key elements of the position include event planning, coordination, and execution, plus project management, membership marketing, and support. You will also be responsible for database administration.
This exciting position is responsible for posting for 10+ events per month on the Chamber website and events calendar, sending out invitations, answering questions about programs, basic graphics design, social media posts, and managing both in-person and virtual events.

Competencies needed:
Verbal and written communication skills
Ability to organize projects
Customer service skills
Knowledge or ability to learn Microsoft Office computer applications, CRM database, social media business platforms, basic graphic design, online marketing, and website maintenance
Sensitivity and respect for racial, gender, sexual orientation, age, and cultural differences
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
