Medical Receptionist
Mission Valley Eye Medical Center
We are an established ophthalmology clinic in Fremont, and we are seeking for a receptionist/administrative assistant for the front office.
Responsibilities
•In this role, you will work at the front desk and assist our patients and other visitors
•You will also help keep our records and work areas clean and organized, as well as ensure our office provides a welcoming environment for our patients
•Greet patients and other visitors when they arrive
•Answer patient questions and provide assistance when necessary
•Distribute forms and paperwork to patients and ensure required fields are completed properly
•Collect co-pays, payments and balances
•Check insurance benefits and process authorization requests
•Answer phone calls and emails
•Working in other areas of the Center as required
Qualifications:
•High school diploma or equivalent
•Strong organizational, administrative and planning skills
•Strong problem-solving & Communication skills and be able to multitask
Experience:
Medical office: 1 year (Preferred), not required
Computer skills: 1 year (Preferred), not required
No experience needed, we'll train you.
Hindi, Punjabi, and Spanish is helpful, but not required.
