Medical assistant
We are seeking a full time Medical Assistant to join our team. If you are sharp and can learn quickly, we can train you. Your role will be to provide exam support with direct patient interaction as you provide exceptional patient/customer service and keep the patient flow of the office running smoothly.
As a member of our staff, you will co-ordinate with the other office staff and report to the Office Manager.
We are a private optometric office. Our mission is to provide complete, precise and personal vision care for all ages in a relaxed, comfortable and caring environment.
Your job duties include, but are not limited to:
Exam scribing, Visual Fields testing, OCT, Optos imaging, Color Vision testing, Tonometry, Blood Pressure, Manual lensometery and other testing as needed, Train patients on contact lens insertion and removal
Since staff members are cross trained in all aspects of the office, you will also learn how to do optical discussion with patients, front desk duties, and other procedures that we do.
Our ideal candidate will have a year of Medical Office experience, speak Spanish, superior communication skills, an extreme attention to detail, the ability to consistently follow through on tasks, superior organizational skill, strong basic math skills, a well groomed, polished appearance and be health and wellness oriented. Saturday hours are required.
