About the Role: The Media Analyst is an entry level position that will closely collaborate with all client teams to analyze data from an array of platforms, develop reports, identify actionable insights and make data based strategic recommendations both internally and externally.

This position will be responsible for reporting and presenting strategic insights from KPI’s that guide creative brand direction and influence paid media investments. The ideal candidate must be passionate about data, measuring what matters, and ‘connecting the dots’ on which KPI’s should be acted upon and when. This key role works within the agency team environment and is responsible for reviewing the integrity of the data and automating the report process. Candidates must have knowledge in techniques for visual storytelling through data and the ability to process insights into actionable recommendations for both brand direction and ongoing paid media investments; While not required, experience utilizing data visualization software such as PowerBI, Tableau or DOMO is beneficial.

Key Responsibilities & Expectations:

Understand client’s business requirements and design reporting and analysis approaches tailored to their needs
Providing proactive recommendations based on interpretation of data and analysis of KPI’s
Benchmarking digital media strategies from digital activity as well as offline business metrics
Partnering with internal operations teams for use of data, reports and integration into client campaign level insights
Integrating internal and external data sources into data visualization software
Working within our business intelligence platform to make sure the data is in sync
Updating and publishing of executive level reports/dashboards
Creating reports in various formats for use by various stakeholders
Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
Stay current with client and industry benchmarks
Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in business, marketing or quantitative field; Masters a plus
Google Analytics Certified
6 months - 1 year of experience in a related role
Agency background with interacting and/or direct marketing experience preferred
Strong passion to identify and solve real business problems using data
Ability to collaborate and work well with others
Ability to contribute to increasing the level of innovation in data and analytics at the agency
Experience with data visualization platforms (DOMO preferred)
Strong analytical skills, must have experience analyzing and interpreting internet-related data from standard software packages
Experience with web analytics packages such as Web Trends, Omniture, Coremetrics, Hitbox, Visual Sciences, and Google Analytics
Expert user of Excel
Solid understanding of the fundamentals of digital advertising
Role requires the ability to write clear and concise PowerPoint presentations for client summarizing data insights, outcomes and implications in straight-forward and enlightening way for clients
