Marine Technician

Are you currently a marine technician and wondering how secure is your job is? Do you have a team surrounding you so that allows you to be wrenching all hours of the work day?
River Valley Marine of Minnetonka is looking for an A-level marine technician to join our team immediately. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, reliable, and has a large amount of boat mechanic experience- both inboard and outboard. The marine technician will perform maintenance and repairs on all types of marine product and have a fully sufficient shop operation including a parts department, service writer, lot staff, detailers, and Director of Service right in-house.
Compensation: WILLING TO PAY UP TO $50/hour! is based on experience, certifications, and qualifications of applicant (This position has potential to be the highest paid technician in the market!) Pay structure is a base hourly wage + piecework/commission based on efficiency
Schedule: We offer fulltime work 52 weeks out of the year (4:10's off season and 5: 8-10's in season). Most work 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm (5 8s) or 6am-4 or 7am-5 (4 10s)
Requirements: Must have degree in marine mechanics AND experience. Additional certifications and/or ability to become certified is a plus
Responsibilities: Service-diagnose-troubleshoot-repair-rigging-winterization- - spring runups - Routine service inspections, test, repair and lubricate engines and other major components Repair and install electronic accessories, steering system, bilge pumps, charging systems, etc Move product, trailers, motors with company vehicle, forklift, tractor, etc Complete with the service writer provides in a timely manner. Utilize Lightspeed EVO, and all other manufacturer service software
