The Vault Nantucket is the premier jewelry boutique on the island of Nantucket with a stunning new store opened in the Boston area (Chestnut Hill). We’re looking for a results-driven sales representative to actively engage existing customer relationships and seek out new retail and client prospects in our prestigious Chestnut Hill location. The role entails having knowledge of gemstones and jewelry; some training will be provided but prior knowledge is preferred. The candidate must be comfortable working in a small business environment with entrepreneurial roots. Seasonal opportunities outside of Boston available. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Present, promote and sell products with enthusiasm, and ability to share gemstone knowledge.
Build relationships by providing exceptional customer service and educating the customer on the value and quality of our products.
Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
Coordinate sales effort with CEO and Operations.
Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
Perform store set up and closing operations, including moving the jewelry to and from the safe and display areas.
Perform store maintenance, merchandising, and other required activities to keep store clean, safe, and inviting.
Present appropriate solutions for clients to boost revenue growth, customer acquisition levels and profitability.
Keep abreast of best practices regarding luxury and jewelry trends.
Continuously improve through feedback.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Experience in a jewelry retail environment with a focus on luxury client service required.
Jewelry passion is a must.
Positive, customer-focused approach in delivering an exceptional customer experience that builds brand loyalty.
Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales.
Excellent selling, communication (both written and verbal), and negotiation skills.
Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills.
Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues of all levels and build cross-functional relationships.

Education and Experience

BS/BA degree or equivalent required.
Graduate Degree from GIA preferred.
Minimum 1-3 years of luxury jewelry sales experience.
