Lead Carpenter
Job Description
Twin Cities Building and Remodeling (TCBR) has an immediate opening for a Lead Carpenter.
TCBR specializes in home remodels, renovations and additions in Minneapolis, St. Paul and the surrounding Twin Cities Metro Area. With years of experience, our team of professional builders and remodelers has secured a sterling reputation in delivering high quality products and outstanding customer service.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Complete field tasks
• Completion and oversight of all carpentry related tasks
• Be able to use mobile device to access and use company operating system
• Address any onside client issues related to carpentry work
Problem solve project issues as they arise
Help assist other personnel and resources in the completion of company projects
Qualifications:
• Have a valid driver’s license, your own truck or van and standard tools of the trade
Maintain general liability insurance
• 6 or more years of experience in carpentry and/or general remodeling
• Ability to perform most carpentry tasks - framing, trim, drywall, etc., and some miscellaneous tasks at times, such as drywall taping and tile work.
• Skilled at reading construction plans and interpreting written projects scopes
• Communicate clearly and listen carefully
• Complete understanding of the materials and installation of all aspects involved in additions, a kitchen or a bath project (demolition, framing, cabinetry, tile, countertops, plumbing fixture/ fittings, etc.)
• Completing Daily Log after each shift
