Responsibilities:
Manage job sites, ensure quality control and cleanliness
Direct team and sub-contractors to accomplish daily goals
Clean work areas, machines, or equipment, to maintain a clean and safe job site
Perform general carpentry from light framing to finish carpentry, must have at least 10 years proven experience in residential construction
Read plans and perform layout as needed, ensure daily schedule of tasks is on schedule
Ability to train others and work with the Management team
Daily job logs communicated to PM/ Client
Firm understanding of specifications, drawings and existing site conditions
Follow up with trade contractors for quality control, integration of scopes, scheduling and sequencing
Requirements:
Minimum 10 years experience as a carpenter or lead carpenter in the residential construction industry
Strong communication skills
Team-oriented
Must have own hand tools and specific power tools
Must have reliable transportation and a clean driving record
No drugs, alcohol or smoking on job sites
Must be self-motivated & punctual
Must present themselves as professional in appearance and speech
Strong working knowledge of job site safety
