Landscape Superintendent
Amerine Systems, Inc. is a pump, irrigation, and landscape construction company in Oakdale, California in business for over 45 years. We are seeking a highly motivated individual for the Landscape Superintendent position. The Landscape Superintendent is responsible for tracking project timelines, manages landscape crew, and project material and equipment need. The ideal Landscape Superintendent will have at least 3 years of construction experience, including union, prevailing wage, and private projects.
Successful candidate will possess demonstrated experience in:
• Ability to communicate with customers delivering outstanding customer service
• Present a clean and professional image
• Ability to lead and motivate crews
• Anticipate next day and upcoming project workload, supply product, and equipment requirements to be
available timely
• Review daily crew time cards for accuracy
• Assist Estimator with bidding jobs
• Implement and document change orders for approval
• Evaluate actual project cost to budget figures throughout the project
• Ability to assemble O&Ms and submittals
• Create schedule of values and provide monthly billing percentages to accounting department
• Participate in offsite pre-construction meetings, job site meetings, and field walks
• Reads and understands all aspects of plans/blue prints and specifications
• Completes tasks efficiently within timelines and budgets
• Conducts safety meetings with crews
Job Type: Full-time
License: Possess a valid California Drivers License
Wage: Negotiated upon experience
