$16 per hour with minimal experience / $20+ per hour with landscaping and irrigation experience

Performs mowing, trimming and edging turf areas using riding mower, push
mower, weed eater and edger.
� Mulches, weeds, removes thatch, aerates, and trims and edges around flower
beds, walks, pathways and walls.
� Prepares planting beds with hand and power tools; integrates soil amendments;
plants bulbs, flowers, ground covers, trees and shrubs; applies mulch.
� Inspects trees and landscape plants for pests and disease.
� Prunes trees, shrubs, vines and hedges.
� Applies seed, fertilizer and chemicals.
� Drives truck to transport plants, materials/tools, debris and landscaping
materials.
� Maintain and service equipment and tools per the maintenance schedule.
� Performs snow and ice removal with hand tools and power equipment.
� Apply pesticides, herbicides and fertilizers per manufacturer�s recommendations.
� Conduct general maintenance duties such as cleaning walkways, picking up trash, and other duties.
� Take out weeds and dead plants from planting beds.
� Trim overgrown limbs, hedges, and leaves.
� Uphold the landscaping design and ensure plant growth.
� Plant new decorative bushes, flowers, plants, trees and shrubs.
� Supervise maintenance repairs to equipment, landscape structures, outdoor furniture, and walkways.
� Advise clients on how to look after the landscape.
� Install landscape elements, including irrigation systems per the designs and manufacturers recommendations. All
landscaping installation (planting, irrigation work, backflow installation and low voltage lighting needs to be under
the direction of the Landscape Construction Professional for the business).
� Construct fences, decks, walkways and other interior projects under the direction of the VP or the lead.
� Knowledge of construction skills�concrete, drywall, framing, etc.
� Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
� High school diploma or equivalent.
� A minimum of 2 years� experience in a construction, landscaping or grounds keeping role.
� Must be able to operate lawn maintenance equipment including lawnmowers, leaf blowers, and hedge trimmers.
� Punctuality and ability to follow safety requirements and use safety equipment.
� Work hard and enthusiastically.
� Able to use an online time reporting system.
� Valid Oregon driver�s license and automobile insurance.
The hours are generally 8 am to 5 pm and will work 30+ hours a week.
