The Opportunity:
We are seeking a Lab Operator (Level I). This position involves the entry level processing and assembly of microelectronic components in accordance with written documents. The manufacturing processes include, but are not limited to: stud bumping, wire bonding, pick and place, flip chip, surface mount technology (SMT), oven curing, plasma cleaning, laser marking, hand placement and die attach. The processes are typically performed with the aid of microscopes utilizing varying degrees of magnification.

What are the day-to-day responsibilities?
� Operate various microelectronics equipment(s) as needed for the different manufacturing processes.
� Using tweezers or other similar device, pick up and place microelectronic components onto pre-determined printed circuit board (PCB) locations
� Inspect results under a microscope with magnification as indicated on the production traveler
� Data entry on computer and document per ISO standard requirements.
� Report directly to Production Manager

What are the desired requirements for this job?
� High School diploma &/or GED
� Ability to speak, read and understand English
� Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Word and Excel
� Keen attention to detail
� Ability to perform repetitive tasks
� Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
� Strong manual dexterity skills

What's the environment like?
� Work space is provided in a climate-controlled area within the Company administrative offices.
� Additional work space is also provided in the production area, including access to a computer.
� Manufacturing operations are conducted in a clean room environment, requiring the use of proper attire prior to entrance into the controlled area.
� The manufacturing environment also includes precautions to prevent electrostatic discharge (ESD), which require the need for specialized smocks, shoes and wrist straps. An ESD compliance check will be administered prior to entry to assure that the standards have been met.

What are the physical requirements?
� Ability to remain in a standing or seated position for an extended period of time
� Ability to lift and carry objects of up to twenty (20) lbs. in weight
� Ability to visually comprehend and interpret process results under various degrees of contrast and magnification
