About Us
The Nu-Age Group (NAG), located in Pearl River NY, is looking to immediately hire a full time Service Desk Engineer. The ideal candidate will have experience providing support for hardware, basic networking, mobile devices, windows operating systems, and Microsoft office support. Connectwise ticketing system experience preferred but not required. Experience in Active Directory, Virtualization, and cloud are bonuses. In this role the Service Desk Engineer will be a technical lead for all troubleshooting, implementation, and maintenance of desktop systems.
The role requires the candidate to work from our Pearl River NY location. This individual will play a primary role in customer service, desktop, network troubleshooting and support of client sites.

Compensation and Benefits
• Annual Salary $45K to $60k – Depending on experience.

Responsibilities/Skills Required:
• Providing 1st line technical support to all clients via phone, email, or remote access.
• Ability to provide Tier I troubleshooting by walking the user(s) through a series of steps to determine / classify / prioritize the nature of the problem.
• Ability to escalate to proper technical support specialist timely.
• Excellent written / verbal skills.
• Working knowledge of computer hardware.
• Troubleshooting various Windows Operating Systems (10/11, Server 2012, 2016).
• Excel at working with others to reach end goal.
• Self-sufficient with ability to work on multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
• May occasionally provide on-site support at client sites in the Tri-State Area.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle to travel to/from Nu-Age as well as client sites.
• Adhering to the set policies and procedures relating to clients.
• Maintaining a professional and courteous attitude in any situations encountered.
• Quickly becoming familiar with new software and appliances.
• Full-Time, Monday through Friday, with rotating on-call after-hours support as needed.
• Certifications such as A+, HDI (Help Desk Institute), MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional), etc. are preferred but not required.
