JOB SUMMARY:
An Insulation Technician loads trucks in preparation for the job site. Performs insulation duties according to company approved methods, standards and timetables. Uses safe methods when handling tools and equipment. Supports the management and mission of the company.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
An Insulation Technician performs insulation duties according to company approved methods and as instructed by crew chief and co-crew chief. Completes work to meet company standards and timetables. Uses safe methods in handling tools and equipment. Makes efficient use of time. Loads trucks with materials, tools, and equipment as instructed by the chief and co-crew chief, and according to the work order. Uses safe methods in handling tools and equipment.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
*Prior work withing Mass Save Program a plus, but not required*
An Insulation Technician will need a valid driver's license is required and; High school diploma or GED; Six months experience as a skilled or semi-skilled laborer preferred; or, An equivalent combination of education and experience.
PHYSICAL DIMENSIONS for an Insulation Technician are lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling:
Heavy Work: Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly or to move objects.
An Insulation Technician will earn a $500.00 sign on bonus up completion of 90 days with company, monthly bonuses paid out to Truck leads, as well as eligibility for health and dental benefits.
