El Rescate is a non-profit agency that provides legal immigration services since 1981 in the Los Angeles Metropolitan area. ------------
El Rescate is recruiting an immigration attorney to handle legal matters that pertain to immigration including deportation hearings, citizenship, U-Visas, VAWA cases, SIJ applications, political asylum, family petitions, and adjustment of status.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Representation of clients before Immigration Courts, USCIS, and Superior Court for SIJ cases.
• Maintain organized case files and case tracking systems.
• Interact with various outside entities, including but not limited to clients, governmental agencies and officials, other non-profit organizations.
• Administrative tasks as may be established by the Board of Directors
Applicants must be proficient in Spanish.
Admission to the California Bar is strongly preferred.
The program offers benefits package along with compensation based on experience.
• Salary range $75,000 to $100,000 depending on experience
