POSITION DESCRIPTION
Salon Stylist:
Key Responsibilities:
Provide full salon services, including hair cutting, shampooing, blow drying and styling.
Job Duties:
• Provide full salon services, including hair cutting, shampooing, blow drying, and styling
• Keep on top of current hair cutting and styling trends
• Ensure clients with scheduled appointments receive service in a timely manner
• Maintain cleanliness of salon and your station
• Maintain Balloon Tree filled at all times
• Answer telephone with upbeat, friendliness and welcoming approach
Requirements:
General Requirements
Ability to do clipper cuts, educate clients on retail products, etc.
Agreeable to work weekends and afternoons during weekdays
Physical Ability:
Operate from a standing position
Meet salon expectations of hair cutting/washing/shampooing/blow drying/styling turn-around-time
Communications Requirements
English, read/wright /converse
Appearance
Meet standard stylist professional appearance
Licensing Requirements
Current Cosmetology License in Minnesota
