The Financial Services Professional is an Entry Level training position with a growing financial planning firm that enjoys helping people! Progressive, family owned firm that cares about their employees, the families and communities they serve, and that likes to have fun while they do it!

Position Description:

• Salaried, full-time entry level position. First step in the MFG Career Path Training Program to become part of our growing financial planning team.
• Training path designed around the successful candidates interests within the financial services field: Financial Planning, Sales, Administration and Operations, Investment Management, Insurance, etc.
• Position is designed to allow employee to learn and experience all facets of the business and the culture of the firm.
• Receive training in the following areas: Back-office administration and customer service, the consultative sales process, the financial planning process, investment processes and platforms, and overall marketing programs and systems.





Ideal Candidate will possess the following skills:

• Communication Skills: Must be able to communicate in an effective and friendly manner with all clients, vendors, associated persons, and co-workers, both on the phone and in person. Willing/able to make effective sales and service calls as needed.

• Persuasion Skills: Candidate must be able and willing to communicate with prospects to help show and demonstrate to them the benefits of setting an appointment with and doing business with MFG. Willing to learn how to use a soft-sell, informative approach, to selling the benefits of working with our firm.

• Computer / Technology Skills: Adept at spreadsheet and problem-solving software, word processing programs, CRMs, and communication software. Working knowledge of online communication programs and social media. Must appreciate and embrace the utilization of technology in the workplace.

• Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw vital conclusions. Ability to summarize these findings into usable, actionable data.


MFG is currently seeking to fill one full-time, salaried, 40+ hour-per-week position to be located in our Red Oak, IA office. $40,000 Starting Salary with opportunity for bonuses and advancement. Full benefits package including PTO, 401k with Profit Sharing, and health and dental insurance.
