Objective: The Embroidery Technician is primarily responsible for assisting the Embroidery Coordinator with consistent and efficient operation of embroidery projects and operating machinery. This person works closely with the Operations Manager and the Embroidery Coordinator to ensure orders are completed in a timely manner according to the production schedule. A successful Embroidery Technician should be able to maximize time during a shift, assess and communicate problems that arise to their direct supervisor, and handle fluctuations in scheduling calmly and efficiently.

Essential functions:
• Read and evaluate the production calendar set out for the embroidery department and communicate any potential issues and/or problems on timelines to the Operations Manager and Embroidery Coordinator.

• Communicate with sales team and/or customer service to get logos digitized and stitch outs completed when needed.

• Operate embroidery machines, ensuring they are running at all possible times and that time of the whole operation (from setup through trim time) is being managed efficiently.

• Follow through with daily and weekly machine maintenance.


• Communicate material needs for their department to direct supervisor.

• Communicate with the machine company directly to troubleshoot any issues that arise.

• Provide a report with all work completed to the Operations Manager daily, making sure to communicate directly any deadlines that may not have been met.

• Maintain a log of run times for each logo on file.

• Complete work efficiently and accurately.

• Ability to respond and follow through with detailed instruction from management.

• Adhere to all company policies and procedures and abides by safety regulations.

• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, push, pull and lift/carry up to 50 lbs. may be required.

Qualifications: Experience with Microsoft Office including Word and Excel is required. Experience with embroidery machines is preferred.
