JOB OVERVIEW
The E-bike Mechanic is responsible for assembling, evaluating, diagnosing, and servicing the rental and sales fleet.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assemble e-bikes
Communicate with customers about service needs
Evaluate, diagnose and service e-bikes
Determine service timelines and communicate them to managers and customers
Manage parts and tool inventory; maintain service area in an orderly fashion
Charge, clean and maintain rental fleet
Conduct warranty work
Manage daily service reports
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
Experience with bike, e-bike, or automotive mechanics preferred. We can train
Strong verbal communication skills
Ability to make decisions independently, or escalate when applicable
Flexible hours may be required occasionally
Valid driver’s license required
Ability to lift and move boxed and unboxed e-bikes required
Experience and interest in cycling or e-bikes is a plus
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school equivalent or greater preferred
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a client services related capacity preferred
