KNOWLEDGE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Persons hired to this position will receive training and certification in CPR/ First Aid, defensive driving, and medication administration. Persons in this position are responsible for supervision of clients during the entirety of their shift and will assist clients in accomplishing their daily goals set forth by their Individual Plan. Persons in this position will follow and obey all directions of the Program Manager and Executive Director; asking for clarification should there be any confusion at any time. Persons in this position will be trained to execute principles and methods of habilitation and education for clients with developmental disabilities; principles for maximizing the physical; cognitive and social development of their clients.

Driver License [Note: Driving record will be evaluated by management]

RESPONSIBILITIES:

A. Supervision and direct care for clients’ needs.

B. Implementing ISSP [aka Individual Service Support Program] programs and protocols for persons in service.

C. Daily documentation and record keeping tasks.

D. Maintaining healthy and safe environment.

E. Base Site maintenance and tasks.

F. Transportation needs, including adhering to transportation schedule and reporting any vehicle issues

G. Timely completion of assigned special projects, e.g., end of day reports, end of week reports, incident reports, etc…

SCHEDULE:

Direct Support Staff will work hourly from 8:00am – 4:00pm (Note: May be subject to

change), Monday through Friday (Note: Mon-Fri under normal conditions but subject to

change with 48-hour notice).

VI. Compensation:

Starting pay is $15/hr. with a $1500 bonus paid out after 60-day probationary period,

yearly raises based off performance reviews (quarterly). Christmas bonus paid out

December 1 st of each year and dependent on years of employment, performance, and

quarterly evaluations paired with improvement in deficient areas. Health insurance

benefits may be extended after a 1-year probationary period where the owner of Eden

Care Facility has the sole right to extend a full-time position or maintain current position

in the company or terminate employment. Acceptance of full-time position after 1 year

probation is required to receive medical insurance.
