Rapidly-growing lab equipment company located in Watertown, MA. is seeking a Delivery Driver/ Warehouse Associate to Join Our Team
Qualifications:
Ability to drive 26� and 16� box truck, company van� no CDL required
Valid Driver�s License
Must be able to lift 50+ lbs
Ability to follow the best practices for safety, both on the road and while loading or unloading a truck
Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of warehouse experience.
Minimum one (1) year of related warehouse experience within the consistent areas of material handling, shipping and receiving, distribution, and/or operations.
Good understanding of basic/fundamental warehouse shipping and receiving procedures.
Ability to perform multiple tasks and work independently.
Ability to perform within a changing workload and/or priorities and meet order schedules with quality results.
Ability to collaborate and work well within a team environment, and willingness to motivate and support others.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Responsibilities
Communicating with dispatchers, drivers and other team members to make deliveries
Decontaminating and cleaning equipment
Arranging equipment accordingly in warehouse
Organizing warehouse and supplies
Providing a clean and accessible loading dock
Local van and non-CDL 26� and 16� box truck deliveries
Performing basic truck maintenance
Loading and unloading cargo
Tracking shipments and deliveries
Obtaining client or customer signatures when needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
