Restoration Technician: SIGN ON BONUS UP TO $5,000
This is a full-time position with a well-known water, fire, and mold damage restoration company. Responsibilities:
Follow job site safety conditions and procedural protocol
Perform assigned tasks as part of the crew with quality and care
Be a flexible team player and demonstrate a can-do attitude at all times
Perform disaster response or crisis management activities pertaining to water damage, fire damage, mold remediation,or other immediate need-based services
Water extraction, remedial demolition and drying
Clean smoke damage from affected structures and contents
Maintain company image and attitude
Be willing to participate in an on-call rotation at least one week per month.
Take the initiative to improve technical knowledge and personal performance
Attend restoration/mitigation training seminars
Required Skills:
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Express curiosity, problem solving and interest in developing knowledge of current technology and systems
Industry certifications helpful, but not necessary; we will train you in state of the art methods and procedures.
Experience in the fire and water damage restoration and mold remediation industry is required.
Attention to detail.
Physical and Work Environment Requirements:
Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds and ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance
Exposure to chemicals
Walking and standing for long periods of time, driving, sitting, climbing,
Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heights
Ability to work in tight spaces (e.g., crawls spaces under buildings)
Repetitive pushing/pulling/lifting/carrying objects
