JOB TITLE: Customer Service Representative
EMPLOYER: JF Fixtures & Design
DEPARTMENT: Sales
REPORTS TO: Vice President of Sales
EFFECTIVE DATE: 10/27/2022
SUMMARY: JF Fixtures & Design is looking for the right person to train for their Customer Service Representative position. The person will be responsible for interacting with Customers to determine their needs. They will also be responsible for entering orders and providing necessary paperwork to fulfill orders. Create customer relationships to foster long term business. In addition, overseeing the product Showroom to guide customers to find solutions.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Inbound customers inquiries via phone and email
• Enter Customer Orders
• Coordinate with shipping department to ensure customers know status of orders
• Maintains status of orders through entire process
• Participates in inventory process and update Material Requirement Planning system
• Generate Quotes, Invoices, Packing slips and Bill of Ladings
• Update daily, weekly, monthly metric reports
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement
• Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS:
• One to Two years’ experience
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Comfortable working with people
• Positive attitude and willing to learn
• Commitment to excellence and high standards
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Ability to manage priorities and workflow
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing
priorities with enthusiasm
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
• Bilingual in Spanish and English a definite plus
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
• Frequently required to stand and walk
• May required to lift/push/carry items up to 20 pounds
• Frequently work near moving mechanical parts
• Frequently exposed to loud noise in wood working shop
