QUALIFICATIONS:

Master�s Degree (Mental Health; Psychology; Counseling, Social Work).

Demonstrated ability in interviewing, verbal and written communication, problem-solving and decision making, record keeping, and creativity

Able to interact with all staff and clients in a professional and pleasant manner.

Professional appearance, aptitude, and attitude

Impeccable ethics, integrity, and customer relations skills

Outstanding interpersonal and communications skills

Computer literacy and ability to use an EMR

Knowledge of �best practices� behavioral treatment delivery and methodologies

Sound clinical judgment and decision-making skills

Ability to understand the requirements of the clientele

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Maintain client confidentiality and ethical conduct.

2. Conduct initial assessments and intake interviews; refer as appropriate.

3. Formulate, implement, and modify client treatment plans within three sessions, as necessary.

4. Provide individual, conjoint, family, or group counseling as needed.

5. Cooperate with all collateral sources affecting a client�s case.

6. Participate in client case finding by awareness of the services the agency provides and by relaying information in a confident, direct, and pleasant manner to all who inquire.

7. Maintain an active caseload as determined by productivity standards of the agency.

8. Serve as a resource person for the agency to the community in areas of expertise as needed.

9. Keep all records current.

10. Attend and participate in meetings assigned including individual and group staffing.

11. Other duties as assigned by the executive director.

12. Assist interns and new staff in becoming familiar with agency policy and procedure.

13. Participate in ongoing education to remain current with the field and license intact.

14. Work professionally and amicably with all staff.

15. Prepare and turn in reports requested in a timely fashion, including timesheets

16. Contribute ideas and suggestions on agency policies, practices, procedures, and programs.

17. Co-mediate with the Executive Director as needed.

18. Write and implement education components including outcome measurements as needed.

VISION: In Time CCS is the leading drama therapy and creative arts program in West Central Indiana. In Time CCS will use its programs and resources to decrease the stigma of mental health �in the community, particularly among African American and faith-based communities.

We are seeking a patient, empathetic and highly skilled Expressive/Creative Therapist who is excited to work at our unique counseling facility. The successful candidate will assist clients in developing new perspectives and work effectively with both adolescents and adults on a variety of issues. We are looking for a candidate with a background in expressive arts and/or counseling. Candidates need to have prior experience providing therapy to a variety of different mental health issues.
