Computer Technician
General:
We are looking for full or part time computer technicians to help with our growing workload. Pay will be based on experience. Employees are expected to be timely and should have a neat and professional appearance. We are open Monday thru Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM and Saturday from 10 AM to 5 PM. Employees are given one hour lunch breaks each day. Employees will be given one day off during the week, and are required to work Saturdays. If special circumstances arise, and employees need a certain day off, arrangements can be made. Management does provide Saturday breakfasts for staff, and we have a kitchen area stocked with drinks and snacks for employees. We also have refrigerators for those who wish to bring their own lunch/food/drinks. A microwave is also available. Saturdays are our main cleaning days (sweeping, trash, mopping, windows, etc.), though we sweep the showroom floor each night. We expect employees to keep a clean and organized work area.
Must Know:
• Windows OS
• MS Office
• Internet Browsers and protocols
• How to diagnose computer and component issues
o Including desktops, laptops, AIO systems, motherboards, video cards, RAM, HDDs / SSDs, power supplies, network adapters, etc.
• Basic computer hardware repairs
• How to build a computer system, especially gaming computers
• Replace various hardware components such as HDDs /SSDs, video cards, CPUs, motherboards, etc
• How to load Microsoft Windows onto a computer system and how to clone an existing OS to another drive
• Be comfortable working on laptops and other smaller hardware
• How to setup routers, switches, hubs, and be able to diagnose various network issues.
• Have product knowledge, especially AMD. (We are an AMD specific shop)
Nice to Know:

• Board level repair skills
• Playstation, Xbox, Switch, other game system knowledge
• Extended Network Knowledge
