Civil Engineering Designer
George & Associates has an opening for a Civil Engineering Designer to join our team in the Denver Colorado Office.
George & Associates, Consulting Engineers, Inc. is a full-service civil engineering consulting company based in Tallahassee Florida. Our Engineering team is devoted to problem solving in multiple states and environments. We offer state of the art equipment, software, training, and a professional culture and environment necessary to provide our clients with the best possible engineering solution for their projects.
The successful candidate will be highly motivated and have a passion for problem solving within the civil engineering field. They will assist in designing construction plans for civil engineering projects from preliminary to final design.
Job duties consist of:
• Preparing civil design construction documents
• Water, wastewater, and infrastructure design
• Prepare preliminary design for environmental documents.
• Assist with other duties assigned by Project Managers
• Flexibility and desire to work on a variety of projects is essential
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Certificate or AA in Civil Engineering
• 1 to 3 years civil engineering site design experience
• Proficient knowledge of AutoCAD/Civil 3D and other design software programs
• Be goal oriented, quality focused, and have demonstrated success with creating and fostering a team environment.
• Ability to resolve project challenges and conflicts.
• Well organized with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to set and establish priorities.
