WHAT YOU WILL LOVE TO DO:
* Partner well with co-teacher in implementing our Life Essentials curriculum
* Help children with their nutrition and hygiene needs
* Assess each child's developmental needs on an ongoing basis
* Conduct parent-teacher conferences and student evaluations
* Run an inspiring, well-kept classroom that encourages creativity, exploration, and decision-making by the children
* Provide supervision and daily functions for the class following the Kiddie Academy policies and OR state guidelines
YOU ARE A GREAT FIT IF YOU HAVE...
* Passion for inspiring and caring for children
* Pleasant/friendly demeanor and a great communicator with parents
* Very reliable attendance
* Physical ability to work with children at eye level and/or lift them as necessary
* Well organized and planned for running classroom well with a co-teacher
* Must meet Oregon State requirements (Background check, CPR/First Aid, etc)
* Degree/Certification in Early Childhood Education, related field, or equivalent experience
