Caretaker
compensation: $16.60 per hour starting with raises and bonuses

I am looking for a male candidate who can be a caretaker to my adult 27-year-old son with Autism. Must have a car. The free rent/utilities is in exchange for being an adult presence in my son's apartment Sunday night through Friday overnight. Weekends are off until 11:00pm Sunday night. You will have a private apartment.
The full-time salaried position responsibilities are as follows: Being on duty 3:00pm to 11:00pm Monday Through Friday to help my son with preparing meals (will train) household tasks, chores, activities of daily living and getting up 7:00am to get my son ready and off to his day program by 9:00am.
You will be off from 9:00am to 3:00 Monday through Friday.
While experience working with people with disabilities in desired, it is not mandatory. I can fully train you. What we are looking for is a person with enough maturity to take responsibility and handle anything that could come up day to day. The person must have a car, must have people skills, a good/warm heart, a keen sense of humor and a willingness to take on a new challenge with a positive attitude. They also have to be fit enough to shovel snow and remove ice from our outdoor staircases, decks and walkways in winter. We have needed equipment. I am looking for a two-year commitment.
What the candidate will get back is extensive training in disability caretaking support and therapy techniques; two years to save up money from free rent/utilities towards future goals, excellent references if deserved, and the ability to be free to work elsewhere or go to school during 9:00 to 2:30.
This can also be a permanent position if everything works out well.
