Behavior Technician

Gateway Pediatric Therapy provides home-based and clinic-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Requirements:
* High school Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s or some college preferred
* Availability (September - June): Evenings and Saturdays
* Availability (June - August): Daytime and Saturdays
* Must be willing to travel to home-based sessions
* Personal reliable transportation
* Auto insurance & driver’s license
* NO PAST CRIMINAL HISTORY
* Maintaining respect and confidentiality for all clients
* Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbal and in writing; lift up to 40 lbs; sit in a child size chair or on the floor and quickly switch from sitting to standing; walk, jog, or run quickly
Job Duties:
* Complete necessary training & demonstrate accurate implementation & reporting on client specific plans, such as behavior plans & client specific emergency procedures as outlined within internal documentation and/or the IPOS/behavioral plan of care
* Receive 1:1 supervision from BCBAs, BCaBAs, and Behavioral Consultants
* Work 1:1 with one client at any given time, with periodic clinical supervision
* Collect, record, and review data accurately following Gateway’s procedures
* Complete and submit all required clinical progress notes
* Maintain client privacy in accordance with all HIPAA regulations & Gateway policies

Hours of Operation: Monday-Friday 7:30am-7:30pm and Saturdays 9:00am-2:00pm
Gateway has clinics based in Toledo, Ohio, Duluth, Georgia, and based in Michigan (Bingham Farms, Dearborn, Southgate, Livonia, Lansing, Sterling Heights, Shelby, Grosse Pointe, Grand Rapids, Owosso, and Lake Orion). For home-based sessions, we serve Lucas County in Ohio, and in Michigan - Oakland County, Macomb County, Wayne County, Ingham County, Eaton County, Clinton County, Shiawassee, Kent, and Genesee County.
All applicants are subject to a background check, drug screening, and driving history check.
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
