Barista
People’s Coffee in Durham, NC is actively interviewing baristas to add to our team! We are looking for employees who love coffee, are familiar with manual espresso or willing to learn, and are passionate about putting smiles on guests’ faces. A successful candidate must have customer service skills and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
The position is for full time baristas who have weekend availability. Our hours are 7am-5pm on weekdays and 8am-5pm on Saturday and Sunday.
Our coffee shop serves breakfast every day from 7am-12:00pm. After noon, we serve Greenville, NC's Smashed Waffle sandwiches until 5pm. **Baristas must be willing to be cross-trained in the position of breakfast cook and be able to serve shifts in that position when needed.**
We are seeking people who are excited to work as team players, follow instructions, and help us delight our guests with delicious beverages from our menu. Great communication and organizational skills are paramount.
