Job Description:
Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC)
I am looking for a talented, caring, fun person who is willing to take on a multitude of tasks in our busy, well-established chiropractic and physical therapy office. The primary role of this position is to lead fitness programs and corrective exercises for our patients in our comprehensive exercise facility. There is an opportunity to establish own clientele and training programs in addition to assisting the doctors with their patients.
In addition to the role as exercise/fitness facilitator, this position will require working directly with the chiropractic physician to assist with the entirety of patient care � medical record keeping, helping the provider with patient treatments, and assisting the staff with physiotherapy modalities.
Duties include:
Running individual and group fitness and corrective exercise programs
Greeting and directing patients
Assisting doctor with medical records
Assisting doctor with treatments and procedures
Taping patients
Helping staff with physiotherapy modalities
Cleaning patient exam rooms
Assist in maintaining equipment and supplies

Qualifications:
Ideally, certified athletic trainer (ATC), although extensive experience as medical/chiropractic assistant and athletic/fitness training background may be sufficient.
Knowledge or background in golf and/or certification in Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) preferred but not required.
Willing to improve/expand knowledge with continuing education. Getting certified in the TPI program will be a must if hired.

Good communication skills: Applicant must be able to take a good history from patients and work as a liaison between patient and doctor. Must also have good telephone skills and can assist with scheduling and administrative duties.

Good computer skills: Must be able to navigate electronic health records software and keep good medical records.
