An Associate Veterinarian position has opened up… seeking a practitioner with at least 2+ years' experience

An Associate Veterinarian position has opened up at a well-respected, progressive small animal general practice in North Carolina.

Committed to exceptional customer service which has led to secured patient loyalty, our client is revered for promoting the harmonious bond shared by humans and animals. Boasting top quality, modern equipment to ensure comprehensive medical services, the practice offers a really nice surgical suite and prep area, high quality radiology machine, isolation ward for low stress/handling, in-house laboratory, separate cat and dog ward, and much more.

Excelling in providing exceptionally compassionate veterinary care, this small animal practice is incredibly progressive and is searching for a Veterinarian with 2+ years' experience, ideally 3 - 5 years, who is capable of working independently and is comfortable with being the only vet in the practice. You will of course be supported by a network of friendly and collaborative doctors and highly trained and dedicated support staff, but this opportunity offers you a chance to make the practice your own.

The plan is to make this practice a 2 doctor practice. With 2 sister hospitals in close proximity, you will have lots of assistance and opportunity to see a range of cases. Indeed, if you have a particular niche such as shelter medicine, surgery, dermatology etc., the practice will make it a priority to foster and encourage this so that you can pursue your special interest.

You can rest assured that your professional and personal growth will be encouraged in the friendly, welcoming and inclusive environment. Our client is seeking a practitioner who above all possesses a can-do attitude, compassion, empathy and motivation to provide exceptional care to clients.

Location

The Practice supports a healthy work/life balance which has never been easier in this remarkable city situated in the county seat of Stanly County in North Carolina. Enjoy lots of accessible hiking trails ranging from easy to strenuous at the Morrow Mountain State Park, as well as trips to explore the wonderful Falling Rivers Art Gallery. There truly is something for everyone as there are drive in theatres, antique malls, and vineyards such as Dennis Vineyards Winery where the wine tasting is much talked about and fun filled activities are always on offer.
