SEC is growing and seeking for a Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our team. We are dedicated to customer service and looking for career-minded individuals striving to exceed customer expectation.
The Shipping & Receiving Associate is responsible for the selecting, validating, and packaging of all outgoing distribution orders.
Schedule : Monday-Friday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Shipping Responsibilities:
Prepare goods for shipment
Match actual product to associated documentation; record transactions in the Guns tore Management System (GSM)
Research and resolve discrepancies between actual product and associated documentation.
Prepare routine activity reports.
Respond to internal and external requests for information regarding receiving/shipping data or issues.
Fill out forms and papers to record measurement, weight, and product count
Seal and label each package/order
Pack inventory following a specific set of instructions
Move completed packages for loading
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Perform additional related duties in the department.
Other duties as assigned
Key Qualifications
Efficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, and Word
Ability to read, write and interpret information
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
Ability to lift/carry items less than 40 pounds
Ability to sit/walk/stand for up to 8 hours per day
