Assistant Teacher
Seeking an innovative and qualified teaching assistant to join the team at Reston's oldest Montessori school in our Primary classroom. This position involves providing support to a lead teacher in a classroom of students aged 3-6 years. The assistant is responsible for organizing and preparing materials under the direction of the lead teacher, overseeing children during work periods and play time and helping to manage the daily classroom environment. The preferred candidate qualifications include a degree in Early Childhood Education and experience working with children. Salary is commensurate with experience. Hours are 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
