Art Therapist
Job description
We are looking for a qualified art, play and/ or Counselor/Social worker therapist to join our practice to provide professional counseling and engaging wellness therapies for our clients. You will offer a full range of treatments to fulfill different client needs and objectives.
Requirements
Hold an LPC or LPCA (supervision provided)
and/or
Hold an LCSW
and/or
Hold an ATR-BC, ATR or Masters in Art Therapy working towards ATR (Supervision provided)
and/or
Hold an RPT or working towards RPT (Supervision provided)
Responsibilities
Deliver counseling, therapy, art therapy and or play therapy for individuals and groups
Maintain equipment, supplies and premises as shared space with other therapists
Keep documentation and maintain clients files
Keep a clean and stocked room
Acknowledge and respond to relevant customer queries, needs and expectations
Suggest and promote additional services
Uphold hygiene standards and follow health and safety regulations
Cooperate with and report to administration on any arising issues
Apply best practices and be up to date with counseling interventions
Skills
Proven work experience as a counselor, therapist, play therapist, art therapist, expressive therapist or social worker.
Ability to provide group and individual sessions
Ability to create programs and recruit clients
Communication and customer service skills
Positive attitude
User level computer skills, including the ethical use of Simple Practice software, online therapy sessions, and HIPAA Compliant documentation.
Current license in SC (LPC, LSW, ATR, ATR-BC, RPT) or masters degree and working towards a license
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $43,789.00 - $49,683.00 per year
